Big Bang Extends Contract With YG Entertainment

It was revealed today that Big Bang went ahead and extended their contract with YG Entertainment for a further 5 years. Was it a good decision?

The Big Bang boys have decided to extend their contract with their existing agency because of mutual trust as opposed to common problems that arise between idol groups and their labels. Such as, TVXQ vs. SM Entertainment and Kara vs. DSP Media.

It has been about 10 years since the boys debuted with YG Entertainment and this year also marks the group's 5th anniversary! Fans were thrilled to hear that Big Bang will be continuing their activities as a group!

Their special edition album will be available tomorrow

Jackie Chan Will Donate Entire Wealth

A few days ago, there was a hoax going around that Jackie Chan died of heart attack. Millions of fans from around the world were relieved to hear that he's alive. Well, the HK superstar revealed that if he pass away one day, he'd donate all his wealth~

He already willed half of his assets to charity and his son will not get a cent. He wants his son, Jaycee Chan to be a capable man because if he is not, then "he will just be wasting my money." Jackie expressed that he regretted not pushing Jaycee hard enough such as sending him away to join the military in order to toughen him up.
Regarding the hoax, he commented:
"I am not dead, though I am so busy that I may get worked to death...I really wish the media would report more on charity and other important news instead of gossiping. That would be of much greater value."
"Even my friend, Will Smith mourned my passing on the Internet because of the fake reports!"
Jaycee also became anxious upon hearing the "news" so he rang his father to double check but, was scolded by Jackie "Do you wish I was dead?"

Naruto Shippuden Movie 4: The Lost Tower

Naruto fans, it has been announced that Naruto Shippuden Movie 4: The Lost Tower will be released on 27th April 2011 (DVD/Blu Ray). Read on for more details on when it will be released online!
Actually, it was released in Japan's theatres last year (31st July) but no word on the DVD release until recently. For those living in Japan, you are able to grab hold of the DVD or Blue Ray copy first. As for the rest of you, it is predicted that the movie will be subbed in English and broadcasted online within the next few days of the DVD release. Possibly, the online version will be shown at the official site: Naruto.com
Just look out for it after April 27th!

Several Visual Kei Bands Plan Charity Songs

  

It was recently announced that visual kei bands DaizyStripper, Anonymous Confederate Ensemble (aka A), and FEST VAINQUEUR have launched a new charity project to help Tohoku earthquake relief efforts.

DaizyStripper, A, and FEST VAINQUER will release charity songs, and they plan to invite more artists from other labels. The project also plans to carry out other charity activities as well. On DaizyStipper’s official site, they said they hope their songs will become the visual-kei equivalent of “We Are the World,” a mega 1985 charity single by Michael Jackson and 46 other US artists for famine and disease relief in Africa.

DaisyStripper drummer Kazami commented, "Us visual kei artists will deliver the songs with all our might and all our hearts. Thank you for your warm support."

DaizyStripper also announced that they are participating in T.M.Revolution’s live stream charity program STAND UP! JAPAN 2011 on April 2.
